I have a question my son is entering the AFROTC and a college in Kansas. At thirteen he was diagnosed with adhd. He did take some medication off and on however quit taking it when he was 16 his last prescription was written in 2020 but was not filled. His senior year in high school he was a 4.0 student and had a GPA of 2.95 when he graduated. He is an eagle scout and served as the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader in his troop for 2 years. He has also been a Senior Shot Gun Instructor for 3 years at the Bartle Scout Camp in Missouri. He is getting ready to fill out and start his paperwork for DodMerb physical. What do we do? Not put it down or do and hope for the best. He obviously performed well at school without any medication. Also received high praise from his senior leaders as a shot gun instructor.

Thank you

Do NOT lie! Tell the truth and let the process play out. Lies tend to come back to haunt one, background checks and medical exams tend to turn up everything. BE HONEST! Your son wants to be a leader, that starts with being truthful and gaining respect. @MullenLE can give you a DoDMERB prospective, but the questions are specific and answering honestly is the beginning of your son's journey toward adulthood!

That was are plan all along. Just can't seem to get clear answers.

Clear answers to what? If the question asks "have you ever had or have", seems pretty straightforward.
