I am currently a second semester sophomore applying for LTC and then subsequently ROTC. I do not need a scholarship, have a 2.8 gpa, 31 on my ACT (just for background info).
From the beginning of my senior year of high school until the end of it, I was on Zoloft for an Adjustment Disorder. I was going through stuff with a girlfriend, parents, and having a tough time with transitioning to college from high school. As soon as the summer rolled around, I was taken off the medication and have been absolutely great since then. So it has been nearly 2 years since I have taken the medication. I remember reading that an adjustment disorder (309, what I was diagnosed with) within the previous 3 months and anti-depressants within the previous year are DQ worthy, but that was for MEPS I believe. I do not fall into either of those DQ areas. Is it different for Army ROTC, and with the current state of affairs in recruiting, if I need a waiver, is it even worth it?
Thanks in advance for any help
