Hi! Does anyone know if the USAFA 2020 Admissions Board has started meeting and offering LOAs/Appointments for 2025 applicants?
 
My advice to all 2025 candidates...relax. If you completed your package and have a nomination, enjoy your final months of High School. Don't make poor decisions, don't do drugs, keep your grades, hug your loved ones a few extra times, have some fun and make some memories. Odds are you won't hear anything until March.
 
The first two posts in the 2024 appointment thread last year were Oct 30 and the first from 2023 was Nov 9. I would assume the first meeting will be very soon if they have not met already

For those getting these super early appointments, are they for the most part non-MOC appointments? For those of us who will require a MOC appointment, when does one typically see those roll out?
 
If you go back and look at the threads, you will see the first few reported for the Class of 2024 were labeled as Congressional appointments. There are a few MOC's who have early deadlines and submit their slates early. Each runs its own process so this varies widely. That being said, applicants really do not know who they get "charged" too so they may or may not have been charged to that MOC. I assume that they at least had a nomination showing up in their portal and that's why they listed it the way they did.

In NC we have one Senator who has a mid-October application deadline and historically will have interviews and wrap up his slate and submit it before Thanksgiving. The other Senator has a November application deadline and historically doesn't interview until the first or second week of January. MOC's have a deadline of Jan 31 to submit their slates.

Most appointments will roll out in February and March. There will be some before (mostly those with LOA's) and a few that will come out in April, May, and even June. You are in it until you get a TWE.

Hello, my question is if all requirements is showing complete on the portal, is there a main button to click to submit the whole application?

I don't recall that being the case. If you have check marks across the board and under "application status" it says "complete", I think you're all set. Or at least that Long Wait begins.

Good luck and perhaps we'll cross paths at USAFA one day!
