What day of the week does the admissions board meet? Son received a phone call today during football practice that went to VM about additional information being needed by the board. Do they meet on Tuesday?

Does it say in his portal what is missing?

Thursdays are their customary meeting day.

Nothing is missing and he is still CPR. He is going to call back during his break between school and football to clarify.

Relax -- someone in the Admissions Office wants to clarify something. It really doesn't matter what day the Board meets.. even if you got the information tomorrow, it doesn't mean that it will go to the Board this Thursday, the next Thursday , or any other Thursday. DS application will be reviewed in due course. That being said, when you receive a request for information, respond promptly ..

Agreed. He is prepared for a long wait. He has done am amazing job keeping up with deadlines.

Time really flies. It seems like only yesterday that my DS was going through the same thing.
There were a lot of deadlines to keep track of. After all the deadlines were met, the wait was was truly a test (for all of us).
I don't envy you and your DS. Try not to think about it. I know, easy for me to say.

We used the wait time to spend more time with our DS, and making sure he was having fun in the moment (enjoying time with his friends and having fun in that last year of High School). It's probably the first time in his life that I eased up a bit, as a Father. I figured by that time, he had earned not having me on his back all the time. ;)

This is our second academy gauntlet as we have a 2021 son at USMA. He has been amazing about completing his tasks and now it is time for the civilian schools apps. I have learned so much more this time to not sweat the small stuff.

We are supporting him through the 3 academy files he has completed - USMA, USNA and AFA. It is much easier this time!
