Admissions office working on weekends?

My DS has begun to check his portal rather frequently, being that he has now secured 2 NOMS + cleared DODMERB. However, he has assumed the Admissions office of USNA has business hours M-F. I noted today that several Appointment offers have been dated on the SA Forum on the weekend. Does anyone know if these are posted on the portal outside regular business hours, or are these dates just when the offer of Appointment has been accepted by the candidate. Thanks in advance for your input: the wait is becoming real in our house o_O
 
Very unlikely they are working weekends. USNA Admissions are all civilian employees or personnel on shore tours (i.e. non-deploying tours that are supposed to serve as a break from the operational side of the house). I also have never seen an organization more committed to the weekend than the military.
 
My DD received her offer this morning (Sunday). Our MOC contacted her earlier this week to let her know that it was coming and told her that she should see it in her portal by yesterday (Saturday). We were skeptical since it is the weekend but she still checked multiple times yesterday -- no updates. However, she checked this morning and it was there. She also received a notification from USNA via email at 8:01 this morning. Don't know if someone is working this weekend or if things are being electronically processed. I do know that this has to be a crazy time of year for the admissions office.
 
Admissions will normally have a delayed (appointment) status for the candidate and BGO in order to give the MOCs a chance to personally notify the candidate. I would highly surmise, the delay (automatically) expired this morning, which resulted in the email and portal notification. As said above, highly doubt admissions is working on the weekend. The only way I would see that is if they were way far behind…but haven’t seen that indication.
 
Wow..Applications haven't even closed, and already Candidates are monitoring their portals 24 x 7, wondering if there is a correlation between when Admissions is open and the release of appointments. A little advice,..RELAX ! It doesn't matter when Admissions is opened.... and frankly two noms and DODMERB doesn't necessarily get you closer to the final answer... Nom's and Appointments has to consider all applications in a given MOC slate, and frankly some aren't even complete yet. Most will find out sometime between now and April 15..and no one ever missed Plebe Summer because they didn't check their portal on Sunday.

Some received appointments starting Nov. 2nd, so it makes sense to check their portals daily.
