Admissions office

Does anyone know if the admissions office is on some sort of break for the holidays? I have a college transcript that should have arrived about a week ago and has not been processed so I figured they might not be in because of Christmas and the new year. Thanks

Like most administrative government offices, it will be minimally staffed. It won’t be closed except for the Federal holidays. Staff will be taking leave in a way that leaves basic functions covered but not with depth. The incoming data is relentless during the Admissions cycle, especially as application and nomination slate deadlines approach. The throughput rate for items will vary with the staff available to process. Things will be slow until the first week of January.

In addition to what CaptMJ said, the typical processing time for transcripts is a couple (2-3) of weeks from receipt, since they have to scan all of them in.

As you can imagine, the dedicated, hard-working staff at Admissions gets buried with last-minute submissions this late in the admissions cycle. Be patient.
