Advice/ Weaknesses and Strengths

I have found out recently that I must ask for a letter of reccomendation from a physics or chemistry teacher. I am nervous because I was not the greatest at honors physics during my sophomore year and ended up with a B, I don't think my teacher would have much to say in the reccomendation either. Is it worth it taking a physics college course over the summer and doing well, I'm sure with hard work I can get a high mark but it's 6 hours a day for a month, is it worth the time?

USNA is very specific about teacher "evaluations" -- it is not a "recommendation", but rather an email asking the junior year math and english teacher to evaluate specific issues regarding classroom performance, aptitude, participation, etc. The evaluation isn't just about grades - they get that from your transcript. It is more about your aptitude and prepardness for USNA's curriculum. If you are a junior --this is the year to make an impression on the teacher.

I didn’t take physics or chemistry this year I took them as a freshman and sophomore, do I use this years science teacher for the evaluation?

You're probably better off contacting your admissions counselor at West Point directly with a question like that. It's usually better to consult an official source when you have a specific question about correctly completing a piece of your application.
