AF ROTC Enrollment Allocation Results

I guess it depends on your det. You have to be FTP both semesters here. And I know I wouldn't regret it one bit. I joined for a reason, if it didn't work out the first time I wouldn't beat myself up for trying again and not making the cut. If I could I'd definitely become a 500. Thanks for that reminder about not having to be a full time student, I didn't take that into account! I'm a 250, if I had another year I'd be a 100 lol

I'm almost to the point where I want to just sit on the couch behind the wall in the cadre office and listen for anything pertaining to slots! lol If we haven't heard anything from other dets by now I really don't think we're going to find out this week...

Yeah I'm with you. My money is on next week. Our CoC arrives at FT May 10. There's NO WAY they'll wait any longer than next week. Life changing days ahead boys.... Life changing days...

Does the AFOQT actually work for something else ?

Other than just to compete as an officer ... can you use the test for enlisting at all ?

No, they'll make you take the ASVAB if you end up going for an enlisted career, regardless of how well you scored on the AFOQT. It is only utilized by the AF for officer selection and categorization.

Thank you always had that question on top of my head. I guess time will tell .... let us hope for the best.

no i really wasnt messing with you guys, i was just telling you what i was told.

Right, now I'm not believing anything until I see it, because this week my flight mates have been confident that we will know Thursday and then today at PT our flight cc told us that its a rumor (which sucks!). I think nobody knows when they will release the results or knows anything about whats really happening. Today we were told that its a rumor for Thursday and that its a rumor that 1500 slots will be given out.

All we really can do is sit back and hope for the best because no one who can tell us, really knows whats happening. The wait is just stressful, today at PT FTP Flight looked all out of it, fearing for the worse and like their minds were else where. This really sucks

This is getting ridiculous. Literally nothing has changed in the past 3 weeks. No updates, no nothing. All of my flight is just fed up. All we get is "You will know as soon as we know."

I totally agree. We were told that we would find out by Wednesday at the latest and well its Thursday and still nothing. Congress owes us all a big apology!

Stay strong guys. Try to keep the morale up as best you can! I know everyone is getting a little depressed over EA slots and stipend cuts. Just try to stay positive and keep a steady eye on your dream.

In all reality how much longer could they possible delay it? I mean eventually its gotta come out soon if they plan on giving us cadets and the Det's time to prepare.

Just sucks 'cause I need to register for summer and fall classes, but everything hinges on whether I get a slot and if so, which dates I'll be unavailable.

Also, if we don't hear by next week, do you think there is a possibility that they'll cancel Max 1 since the time between knowing and going is so short?

Therein lies the problem, we have a million questions, but no answers. Nothing like getting our military careers started off on the right foot.

No one knows anything, so until actual word is heard down from AFROTC HQ, there is not a single piece of information we know. All the cuts and rumors can be predicted, but may be very different from what is actually decided upon.

We simply have to hurry up and wait :)

I'm an AFROTC fiancée and I feel y'all's pain! Not as much of course but its stressful for sure. Hang in there boys/girls! I know many decisions are riding on what you hear about EA slots. Just plan ahead for either outcome. Good luck!

Thank you for your service and dedication!

It's gotta be next week... I'd be very surprised if they arrived any later than that.
