AF ROTC Enrollment Allocation Results

ONE 200? WOW - I hope he is getting a lot of help from the POC next year for training. That is epic though.. One 200.

Is he his own flight? Or is he with all the 100s?
FTP must have been really rough for him :0

My capt got a call from HQ earlier this week saying only 1500 cadets were chosen. I don't know where this 91% is coming from, but my cadre were indeed told from above just days ago that they were cutting 2100 to 1500. Until a 91% acceptance proves to be correct tomorrow, I'm going to remain skeptical of it.

We only have one 200 (yes, that's right, just one) so I'm praying that he made the cut!

Aannnd now we are back to different information from different sources...just when you thought we were in the clear...

I hope so! There are currently four 300s, so we'll be functioning with just five POC next year total. I'm currently a 100, so I'm a little worried for my 300 year with only one 400 to train us.

We started the year with six 200/250s, started the semester with three 200/250s, and up until a week ago, we had two 200s, but then one quit. By the end of last semester, we were down to three 100s, and while we got a handful of new ones this semester, only a couple will probably stay. My det is still separated into a 100 flight and a 200 flight.

I'm pretty sure down at NATCON he told cadets they might be cutting slots.

I was at NATCON, and while Col Dunn did mention cutting slots, he did not give a specific number or percentage.

Oh okay, so that number came off of these forums from people hearing it from their cadre then.

Yes. My cadre were only told of the 2100 to 1500 reduction on Monday, so I don't know if other cadres heard earlier, or if last week's buzz of 1500 slots was purely speculation.

Either way, HQ specifically told my capt of the 1500 number, so I'm very confused whether they decided overnight to instead accept 91%, if they told my capt false information, or if 91% is incorrect.

Watch us just get slaughtered tomorrow. Actually, it will probably be two more weeks until we know. Lol.

I laughed when I read your post... then I realized that could actually happen...

Apparently the AF is just as bad about false info as we are.

Not till the fat lady sings guys, not till the fat lady sings.
