AFROTC boards?

How does it work with AFROTC boards? Does anyone know when they are or were? Application has said "Eligible" for 2 months now. Had interview Jan 12th which was last piece...

Will the status change at some point? Portal is not nearly as informative as Army ROTC portal...
 
Next selection board is February 26 and results will be released on or about March 15. You can click on the box that says "Application Status is Eligible" to see this information as well.
 
My AFROTC status is also eligible...it says I met the January 2, 2024 board and will receive notice on February 23rd.

This is what my daughter's says as well - we were wondering if they left off a digit on the date they note the board met (i.e. Jan 22)--I know Space Force Board was meeting at end of January, and she noted interest in that as well, so possibly that is what they are referring to? Unclear b/c it's not as fulsome as AROTC's site (but at least AF site is working!)

I think that's good new, otherwise it would say reboarded. My son was reboarded once and we were so focused on SA that when he got scholarship in February it was a shock. He got both Air Force and Navy within days of each other in February.

Yes - mine says the same thing. I also believe this was referencing the USSF board which I believe was held from 1/15/24 to 2/9/24. The final board is 2/26/24 to 3/1/24.

Does anyone know how many USSF ROTC slots are being filled?
 
Here is the 24-25 Scholarship Applicant Guide for AFROTC. It lists a lot of good info, including the board dates.

Just checked my DS's portal for AFROTC scholarship and it has changed from Eligible to "Reboarded". It also says board is scheduled for Feb. 26 and results will be out on or about March 15. I looked it up and it looks like the board that just convened was Space Force only. I'm not 100% sure about any of this at all though. It feels discouraging for it to say reboarded but who knows.

Yes, I just checked and mine says the same thing - reboarded with the same dates.

I just realized I posted the wrong file in my previous post . . . Here is the correct file that shows the board dates.

My application went from "eligible" to "reboarded". I'm not sure what this means but remaining hopeful.
 
I just received an email advising me that I was selected for a SF ROTC scholarship. Has anyone else been contacted and have you been able to download the information packet on Wings?

Thank you! I was really not expecting to be selected, as I have heard there aren't many SF slots offered, but perhaps that is changing.

My son received an email on Friday saying he was selected for a SF ROTC scholarship. He's not yet tried to log on and download the information.
 
I reviewed the fall AFROTC thread, & that information helped me. When your son logs into the WINGS portal, he will see the box below.
If he clicks the "Accept/Decline Scholarship" hyperlink, he can download the selection packet. He does not need to check the Accept or Decline boxes in order to access the packet.
