I'm a first year AFROTC cadet (non scholarship unfortunately) and I'm in my second semester. I just got news that I've been denied a waiver for anorexia from four years ago. I realize it's considered a permanent DQ, but I want to fight it regardless of how badly the odds are not in my favor; I want to try anything possible. I was treated for anorexia years ago, it hasn't been a problem since, and it won't be an issue in the future and has no impact whatsoever on my ability to function as an officer or in any other part of my life. Again I understand the severe unlikelihood of anything working out, but I feel like I need to give it one last shot, no matter how unlikely, Air Force is my entire future. Any help with what to do is much appreciated.
