Anyone's children get notice of when their AFROTC flight training might start?

My dd just got notification today. UPT starts in August; she was a Dec. grad.

Anyone's children get notice of when their AFROTC flight training might start?

My son had graduated in May and began in March of the following year. They will be notified via their DET I believe. He reported in March and began actual UPT in July (no IFT needed for him)

What did he do during his time off?

He applied for an Engineering job and they hired him even though they knew he'd be leaving. He actually did something like AutoCad on Amazon Buildings for big commercial construction company. He had a Mechanical Engineering degree.
