Hello everyone,
does anyone know if there is a way to specify a specific degree beyond "General Studies" on the AFROTC high school scholarship application for a major that is considered non-technical or language? I want to study Aerospace Physiology, but that wasn't one of the options in the list, so it wouldn't let me save. I'm asking because when I had my interview, my interviewer said it might be a good idea to put more than just general studies, and that he's seen people with history and stuff like that so he was sure that I would be able to change it, so now I am confused as to why it isn't working.

Sounds like Embry-Riddle's program. If so, then per the ERAU website it's a Neuroscience program which is housed in the liberal arts department that corresponds most closely to what liberal arts colleges call the Biology Department.

"The Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Physiology degree is housed in the Department of Human Factors and Behavioral Neurobiology in the College of Arts and Sciences. ..."

More and more colleges are offering the opportunity to major in a subfield of Biology called Neuroscience that combines physiology, psychology,
chemistry and anatomy that some call "brain science."

If the Air Force allows a separate designation for Neuroscience, then use that. Until then, just tell them you're looking for a "Biology B.S. degree, with a specialization in Neuroscience."
