AFROTC Packet

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the acceptance packet in the mail? It’s been a couple of weeks.

My DS has not received his yet. I believe he was notified by email on 12/17. I am assuming it's due to the holidays and will take longer than normal.

I hope so. We moved and notified them of our new address but makes me worried. Good to know we’re not the only one waiting. Thanks for the response!

DS hasn't received his either & he found out 12/17. Totally forgot anything was even coming in the mail, so thanks for mentioning it!

All non-essential DoD typically goes into a holding pattern from 15 Dec until the first Monday after New Years' each year. That doesn't stop the backlog of paperwork and applications from piling, up, though. It will probably take until the end of Jan before everything is caught back up. Likely the reason the third board isn't held until the 2nd week of Feb.

Common feature of life in the DoD-- your daughters/sons will get used to it.
