I'm applying for a scholarship and I took my PFA this morning. Just wanted to check in and get an idea of whether or not my scores were solid (I know that nobody knows for certain).

Pushups: 59
Situps: 40
1.5 Mile Run: 10:11
Overall Score: 81.9

Yes, great scores. Also remember that you dont actually need to pass the PFA to get a scholarship, however, youll just be expected to pass the PFA by the end of your first semester.

Your pushups and 1.5 mile run are pretty good. It is the 40 on the sit-ups that is hurting you the most. If you can, work on those sit-ups and try again. For reference, on my PFA, I got a 91.1 (44 pushups, 51 sit-ups, 9:52 1.5 mile run) and received the lowest tier scholarship. Don't be discouraged. Just because you struggle in one area doesn't mean that you won't get a scholarship. The boards look at your entire package, and your PFA only accounts for 5% of it. You definitely have a good shot.

Thanks for the insight! I had no clue you didn't have to pass, that's kind of weird.

Thanks for the help! Best of luck in the future.
