AFROTC Summer Programs/Opportunities

The Military.com AF ROTC webpage has a summary of summer programs (e.g. ASSIST, SOARING, FREEFALL, NERE, etc.) available for cadets. Any word on whether or not such programs are actually funded for 2017? If so, where or who can one contact to find more info and how to apply? (DS says cadre didn't have good or current info when asked).

We were told yesterday of openings of 4 PMT opportunities out at the Academy this summer. They are FreeFall, Soaring, SERE, and FERL. Our applications were due to cadre by noon today, and I believe each Det only nominates one cadet per program. They region commanders then choose like 7-8 per region for each program. I believe those selections are done this Friday. It's a shame your cadre don't have the relative info because this seems like a fast moving process.
