After Graduation

I know at other schools, they have service selections (and from KP you can go active duty)

But what do people do coming out of KP? what % work in the transportation industy, what % goes active duty, etc. What is the most popular branch, etc.
Please just help me out here, im just trying to get a better feel of KP.

Typically about 25-30% of the graduates choose to go on active duty. In the last couple of years the numbers have been higher due to a lack of jobs in the maritime industry. There are some indications that this years class will have a very high number of graduates choosing active duty. I would say that most of the graduates choose Navy or Coast Guard, but the Marines and the Army each get 10-15. In the last couple of years the Air Force has gotten a couple and last year 1 went to NOAA.
