Agency field in DodMerb is missing one service academy

Hi! I just checked my daughter's application status in DoDMerb and saw that only the Air Force Academy is listed in the Agency section. She is also applying to the Naval Academy. Will we need to complete new physicals and undergo a separate review process for the Naval Academy. Why is it not showing up here and what can I do to help my daughter correct that?

One DODMERB exam is good for all the SAs and ROTC scholarships.

Yes. Each agency will do a separate review process on that one DODMERB exam. Literally it’s one physician reviewer looking at the DODMERB exam on behalf of all the agencies.

Your DD probably has not triggered the DODMERB exam for USNA yet. When that happens, USNA will send a request to DODMERB for your DD to get an exam but there’s already an exam on file that the USAFA initiated. You’ll see it on her DODMERB portal that the USNA has initiated a DODMERB exam.

How many requirements of the USNA app has she completed?

I think she needs to have more than 2 to trigger the DODMERB exam from USNA. It’s not like the USAFA app where they say complete 3 of the requirements from a list and you get a DODMERB exam.

I don’t know exactly how much of the USNA app must be completed but it’s definitely more than 2.

The good thing for your DD is that once the DODMERB is triggered for the USNA, there will be an exam already on file for her.
