Airfield Status

Is the airfield still being used for firefighting or is it open for airmanship activities?

I know they had flown back all the T 53's ? yesterday from COS.

Instructors were flying the Powered Flight planes this morning to make sure they were not interferring with the helos still at the airfield for firefighting (per my cadet). If no interference, then they were suppose to take some of the afternoon class (the class is broken into morning and afternoon classes) up flying. My son is in morning class so he did not go up. His roommate is in afternoon but there were thunderstorms so he was not able to go up. Don't know if others were able to go up earlier in the afternoon before the thunderstorms. 5 day forecast has thunderstorms every day. Sorry - don't know about Jump or Soar.
