When paperwork was turned into DoDMERB allergist did not include new allergy testing from September that showed no allergies to
(peanuts, shellfish, eggs) so DQ happened. USMMA has asked for waiver. Son did send new test and letter from allergist stating 1st test was false positive and new test shows no reaction. Does DoDMERB not change the DQ or does USMMA still have to deal with it with wavier? Also how long does the wavier take? I keep seeing on here that if wavier is not done by April 15 he is done. He does have an LOA.

MOM/DAD: Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" Read paragraph #4.

Son: Send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your Parent's posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “Allergies - Depmoom SAF “ :wiggle:

I have shellfish allergies too, but I haven't heard a word from dodmerb or usafa since my DQ in November. What is the allergy test for shellfish like, how long does it take to complete, and can I go to my local hospital to complete it?

You could go have skin prick test done, or food Challenge? But the original skin test was when he was 6, it was a false positive. He was always eaten peanuts, shellfish and eggs. Never had a reaction.
