On June 23rd the Rockies play the Red Sox at Coors Field. If you have never been there it is one of the great places to watch baseball and to enjoy an evening. The area surrounding Coors Field "Lodo" was built to make people enjoy the whole experience. We lived in Denver when my children were small and used to take them there on a regular basis. It is really a family friendly place.
As we all know, our appointees report the next morning. The Springs is not that far, and the game starts at 6:40 giving the kids plenty of time to rest before reporting.
As of right now, there are tickets available, but, Red Sox fans seem to show up in droves all over the baseball world. I am planning on taking my son there that night. Most likely enjoy something to eat after the game and hopefully be back in the Springs by 11 o'clock or midninght.
If anyone wants to join us they are more than welcome. PLease let me know and I will try to secure tickets close to each other, or hopefully together. I am going to call the Rockies today, May 6th to inquire about tickets and possibly group sales.
Regards,
Devil Dog
