Got this recently when I bought some anti-perspirant. It really makes sense if you think about it and I'll probably start doing it for track and such. But anyways, here you go.

"Army researchers say using anti-perspirant can prevent blisters on your feet. According to US Army medical researchers; 'Anti-perspirant reduces the sweating that creates friction, and friction leads to blisters. By reducing sweating, an anti-perspirant also helps existing foot blisters to heal faster.' Lead researcher, Joseph Knapik MD, suggests applying an anti-perspirant to your feet every day for five days before a major walk, run or bike ride."

Has anyone else every tried this?

how about wearing shoes that fit?

I know from watching Platoon that mosquito repellent is not highly recommended...:shake:

7 months in the desert and I used anti-perspirant on my feet every day. No blisters and no sweaty feet by the time I got back to my quarters each night.
