I too would like to thank Mr. Mullen for his availability. I have been in the military for 28 years and have never seen this much openness and all-hours availability in either the military or civilian fields. After posting an e-mail to his address found on this forum (also a rarity), I received a call about 2 minutes later - which was nearing midnight in his location! We discussed my son's case, and he put me in touch with the director of DodMERB - Captain Merchant. Both were able to answer my questions without blowing smoke.

So, although it doesn't look so good for my son, thanks to what I feel was an uninterested ER doc and my stupidity (looks like he'll have to find another dream), I do appreciate their openness and availability. Thanks guys!
