My son isn't home for four more hours and I see that this is coming in our mail today. He still has a DoDMERB waiver that we're hoping for, but haven't heard anything yet (the portal doesn't have a check mark) --is this how they ask for more info about his medical issue? Dying to know what it is!!! Sorry I can't figure out how to turn it on here.

ahhh, this is correspondence from the dean of admissions at the US Naval Academy on King George Street in Annapolis, MD. The Academy is part of the Department of the Navy it appears. It is marked "Official Business" so I would put money on it being official correspondence.

The return address appears to be the same as other correspondence from them, but the BFE comes after appointment is accepted.

@GoNavy2025 and @OfficerToBe750 just rip it open. That's what I would do. Everybody else here will tell you DS is in charge of the process and don't hover over the poor fellow. He's going to be an officer some day for goodness sake.

BFE (Big Fat Envelope): Appointment letter in a nice SA folder.

Get rid of the APP that you are previewing deliveries with until after the process so you don't make yourself crazy. If this was a piece of mail you actually retrieved, stop going to the mailbox. Have your DS go to the mailbox and pick up all future mail. As for this one, relax. It is only a few hours.
