Any NROTC Sideload scholarship applicants 2024?

Why should all of the SA's and 4 year NROTC National Scholarship peeps have all the fun on SAF? Anyone have a Mid applying for NROTC Side load this year. DS just started the application process this week. Board is not until end of July, but he has to have all documents into the unit by June 1st.
He has had a great year academically, and was active with the unit. Hopefully he has a good shot at the side load.

Anybody else waiting this summer for good news?

One thing that can sometimes make a difference is a letter of commendation or simply a recommendation by one of the non military professors. Something that speaks to the person being a model student and working well with his or her classmates. Each PNS has their own grading criteria for the sideload applicants, but in a highly competitive pool, little things can help a person break ahead of the field.
 
Good luck with that! Marine Option Sideload decisions just came back for my unit, we all picked up, but most of our Navy Options are waiting to hear back.
