Congratulations. I took the liberty to add your name to the preppie list. My goal is to keep up and have as many preppies on that list as possible. For multiple reasons, it gives everybody some time to talk to peopl in their upcoming class and it gives those waiting an idea if they still have a chance to get in. Hope it was ok to add your name. Congratulations again. I know you have to be so excited. You guys deserve it.

Honestly I feel like they forgot about my application.......HAHAH. I know I am not the only Airman who feels like this. The closer it comes to the deadline the more I feel like I didnt get in. I know people keep posting this but Good luck everyone!!

I feel the same exact way, I keep praying that I get called into work on Monday (my day off) to report in full service dress and get presented with the acceptance notification. I just hope that I'm notified either way before I go on leave on the 13th, because that would really nag at me until the 23rd. Anyway best of luck to everyone else who is waiting.

http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/showthread.php?t=18704. This is a list for Preppies and Falcon Foundation. I guess we can split them up once everybody is on it. But eventually you will all end up in the same Freshman class at the AFA.
Still no word. Anyone gotten any good news? 
I talked to Lt Abdul-Raheem at the Academy, he told me my commander should be notified today if he hasn't already been notified. 
I hope my commander isn't trying to work up some sort of surprise to tell me. I'm so anxious, it's killing me. XD

If the commander contacted you than that means the director of admissions has contacted him and told him you were accepted. The counselors may have not just heard anything yet because it was just friday/today that they are releasing notice.

I am curious how the prior enlisted entry into the Academy works. If an enlisted airman is awarded a prep school slot, does he/she have to apply for Congressional/Presidential Nominations the next year, or does the LEAD nomination carry over to the appointment to the Academy itself?
The LEAD nomination will carry over. You never separate from active duty.
