I haven't seen a snapchat group, but I have seen Insta in previous years.

You're a leader -- have at it! Create a snapchat group or Insta and post. Be careful that you vet the members. Upperclassmen have been known to join to gather intel on new appointees.

Having said that, never post anything on any social media that could come back to haunt you.
