As in limbo I mean, finished app, everything except a med waiver. A medical waiver has not been requested and I am in limbo because I can't do anything about it.
"waiver limbo" 10/10 termI'm a USNA applicant but I'm coming here because I am also in waiver limbo.
LOL the wait has been absolutely killing me, I think we need a thread just for wavier limbo candidates"waiver limbo" 10/10 term
Yes, my DS is in limbo- Verbally committed to a team, went through the whole portal and CFA 2x's - 7th semester transcripts in- no other info. patiently waiting))As in limbo I mean, finished app, everything except a med waiver. That's just college limbo, waiver limbo adds a tad of uncertainty into the mix.NO waiver here- all medically qualified-
So hard to wait- as other colleges need answers too-My daughter is medically qualified, has everything completed, and just recently got a senatorial nomination, it's killer waiting. We are trying to decide on putting in college deposits for room/ board and tuition at her 3rd choice college!
I would put in the deposit, you don't want your daughter to lose the chance of getting a decent dorm. Think of it like this, if your daughter gets an appt you waste less than 1,000$ for that deposit (i don't know what school it is) but your daughter gets "400k" by going to the academy, while if a TWE comes then the you already have the room problem taken care of.My daughter is medically qualified, has everything completed, and just recently got a senatorial nomination, it's killer waiting. LOL- well, I guess so- Not that "lucky" I might add.. a wait is a wait! That's just college limbo, waiver limbo adds a tad of uncertainty into the mix.
A wait is a wait you're right about that. But I would take an appointment over a conditional appointment any day (the condition is receiving a waiver)LOL- well, I guess so- Not that "lucky" I might add.. a wait is a wait!
I gotchuI agree, though I do not know how to make a thread
I feel thatRight there with ya! DODMERB has said "Under Waiver Review" for 3 months...and portal just says "100% Candidate Kit Submitted" for 2 months! Double nomination received and still nada!
that's the worstDS has been under waiver review w/ USAFA since 7 Sep.
USMMA & USNA have granted waivers.
