Anyone heard back from USAFAPS?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has gotten an appointment from USAFAPS yet and if the majority of the slots have already been given out.

For now, I've only heard about 2-3 people have have gotten an a slot from a few months ago but that's it. I've talked to a former pippie who said she got her appointment around 3/20 last year. I also talked to Team Silver about whether or not USASAFAPS has been sending out decision letters but unfortunately they didn't give me too much information and simply told me to stay put for the time being and also told me that my application is still in the "competitive status".

Any advices would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I have received an appointment to the prep school just last week. Should be coming soon 🤞 the latest you should hear back is April 21st

Yea I'm hoping for an appointmjent, but the longer it takes the less hope I have in to be honest. I also just received a rejection from my plan B which also sucks.

still praying and hoping for an appointment 🤞

Just curious… have you gotten a rejection from USAFA? Just curious why you are waiting to hear about a prep spot and not an appointment to USAFA?

I had no nomination to the USAFA last year. When I didn’t get the nom I just put it to the back of my mind and when my DoDMERB status went to qualified I knew something was up. Keep holding out, it’s a long grueling wait but it is so worth it!

I believe the Falcons received their appointments in February. I'm pretty sure candidates are typically offered the Falcon scholarship towards the end of the cycle, like mid-April and even into May. Hang in there ;)

OHHH ok, I was confused and had practically given up hope on FF because people told me they got appointments in February, I didn't know that that was the appointment to the Academy and not offers for FF itself

My son received his USAFA prep school acceptance 2/7/25. The deadline for accepting it is 5/1/25.

yup i got the appointment February 19, and then I got the scholarship itself late April of last year so you still have a good chance
