Anyone know if there's still spots left for SLE

Having a pretty busy summer, I wasn't originally able to attend either of the SLE dates, so I didn't apply. I found out today that the classes I am taking over summer were moved, so I applied right away, but was just wondering if all the spots have been filled(seeing all the acceptance posts) or if they'll still be accepting people?

My son applied the second week of March and was accepted. He was late to the process. He was wait listed for NASS but he went to Boys State and an engineering camp instead. USNA offered a CVW in September which was actually better for him than NASS. He tore his labrum at SLE so it would have been an issue at NASS. He focused on a MIT summer camp and decided late to apply to SLE. Enjoy your summer! The process for the appointment is busy and a roller coaster ride of emotions. He loved SLE and received his appointment 1/20/17. [emoji41]

I'm sure there are still spots, but they do do this rolling admissions thing so if you're in a state that is hard (they do things based on certain factors like the state you're from, your race, your familiarity with West Point) it may be a problem. They basically want diversity at SLE while also introducing people to the college and military aspects of West Point. Long story short, you still have a chance, but it will be a little bit harder at this point because people are already being accepted; I got in in the first week of February so.

Received SLE acceptance lDt year on April 15, so don't give up. It may be a long wait

Question, did somebody here who went to SLE remember if in the medical release form they ask for your weight?, just wondering, my DD is sporty and fitt but still need to lost some weight for Academy standards, by June she will be in that weight.
