DS had back to back ACL surgery . He's fully healed (surgery and rehab for the 2nd surgery was done in Stanford) and has played varsity football, basketball and volleyball the last 2 years. But he was DQ'd in August, USMA requested a waiver in October and more AIMS in February. There's still no movement in DoDMERBS, when he inquired he was told to reach out to the SA and when he reach out to the SA, he was told to reach out to DoDMERBS. My son moved on to his Plan B but as a parent, I'm frustrated because I know he worked so hard and sacrifice a lot to get our MOC's principal nomination. I'm still holding out for good news, but DS told me USMA told him a few weeks ago that to be considered, he needed to be Medically Qualified by 4/15/2024
