Anyone still pending without a nomination?

As the title says, no nomination. DODMERB clear no waivers needed. Annapolis requested course descriptions in early Feb after they knew I didn't get a nom from my MOC's. Please tell me it's not common practice to drag people out to April 15th just to say no dice.

They aren’t dragging you out. They are considering you very, very intentfully. You could be next wo/man up behind another person, who is still waiting to decide. NO IDEA but presenting one scenario of many that could be going on.

You may still get a TWE. But you are being looked at completely. This is a good example.

My son was in a similar situation as your DS/DD for the Class of 2027. He applied to both the Naval Academy and West Point, and while he received two nominations to West Point, he didn't receive any to the Naval Academy. From January to April, he checked both portals daily and eventually received an offer from West Point. A few days later, he received an NAPS offer from the Naval Academy, which was perplexing because he never received a nomination for it.

In my opinion, if your portal is still pending this late in the game without a nomination. I believe that your DS/DD might receive a NAPS offer as well. The odds are in your favor. Good luck!

I believe you do not need a nom for NAPS.

How do we know if is NO? When will decisions be finalized? Our son's application is under review, his DODMerb is also under review and we have not received anything in the mail. USCGA has a decision in their portal, which for us was a no, but how do we know his USNA hope needs to be over?

MOC isn't the only way to get a NOM. Hopefully, you applied for all NOM's for which you are eligible as the SA's all recommend. USNA also does NOT tell applicants if they are 3Q so you are still in the running until the SA tells you otherwise.
