I was wondering if the USAFA accepts Advanced Placement Credits earned from the AP Tests in High School? If so, do they accept the AP Statistics course?
Thanks

Lol, I like how this question gets asked a lot. From what I hear placement for classes depends largely on the validation tests you take during BCT. Although I think you have to get a certain score on an AP/IB test as a pre-req to take a certain validation test (correct me if I'm wrong?)

But anyway, you can find info about that here... http://academyadmissions.com/#Page/Curriculum

For AP credit with Comp Sci, it comments with "Generally required to take course if student has taken only the AP Microeconomics exam". Does this mean if you take the AP Macro exam you not required to take the class or what?

Also, is biology a core course like chem and phys or just a major course?

I'm not sure what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure the AP Micro comment was mistakenly put in the Comp Sci row and actually means you need to take both AP Micro and Macro to validate a single economics class.

I think it's a core course.

anyone know if biology's a core at USNA or USMA?

thanks
