My dd had sent in her application after returning from SS #1, should she send her new AP scores to BGO, as the school had already sent transcript?

Send AP (and SAT/ACT ) scores to USNA --not your BGO.

Is sending AP scores to USNA or any other SA worth the cost? I know they don't give credit hours and you're supposed to take exams during Plebe Summer to test into higher classes, so what's the point of sending in your AP scores? Does it have any impact on the admissions decision?

Will a bunch of scores of 5 turn some heads on the Admissions board? I would wager "yes".

National AP Scholar Award - Granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
    It's "academic bling".

Maybe its a great thing at other schools/places and I recognize that its pretty significant BUT. . .
I've been heavily involved with USNA admissions for about 27 years now and have not heard a single mention of this as something to watch for. In
fact, I've never heard of the AP scores themselves being used by USNA admissions. Now being in AP itself and its impact on weighted GPAs is pretty
well known but not the actual AP scores.
If I had to guess why this might be, it would be that the vast majority of applicants who do manage this wouldn't have it done before the end of
their Senior year and (of course), that is long after the Admissions Board has to complete their deliberations.
    .
Bottom Line - Congrats if you manage to become get AP recognition as detailed above but I don't think that it is something that the Admissions Board is particularly
    looking for.

IMHO I think it may be more important for your MOC nomination process - they are more open to 'other' aspects of the application.
In any case be sure to include your AP CV with your nomination packet.
