Applicants from IL

Hello, just wanted to get a quick shout out to see if anyone in IL has received a appointment yet. I know IL has 9 slots and I should find out this week if will receive an appointment. So it would ease my mind I hear if anyone heard anything from the academy so that I can get a feel of how many candidates their are.
 
How do you know that you will find out if you will receive your appointment this week? How do you know how many slots are available in your state?
 
The MOC in my state all issue press releases with the names of the students that they have nominated. If your senators and congressmen do the same you should be able to get a good idea of your competition with a little internet research.
 
I've contacted the admission office. Also not all nomination sources have released who they have nominated, as of today I counted only 4 press releases in IL,and through my conversation with the admission officer at the academy they stated that IL has already went over the 9 quota and that "it's even more competitive this year".
