My DS is a reapplicant and just received his candidate status. He was prepared to see a January application due date but it showed mid NOV on his portal. I thought I read somewhere on this forum that the academy wants your first semester college grades as part of your app so that is why reapplicants get a JAN due date. Is that true? or was I just seeing things? So different last year when he had 4 to 5 months to complete his application and now DS has 3 months . Stepping on the gas!

I'm a reapplicant as well and my deadline is mid-November. If you read the candidates' instructions book, it says that first semester of college transcript must be sent to the academy by January 15th I believe. That does not change the deadline for your application materials and forms.

3 months is a lot of time to complete an application. A third of it can be done easily in a few days. Don't stress over the due date! Don't procrastinate. Completing personal data forms, drug and alcohol statements, sending out request for high school records, LOR's and taking the CFA and making Medical evaluation appointment is not extremely time consuming. Having to wait on others is however so get these request out ASAP. Best of luck to you all!
