Hello, I want to apply to USAFA but I am a permanent resident in America, not a citizen until one year after my appointment if I get in. I really don't wanna wait an extra year just in case I don't even get in but it hurts that I'd be considered international even though I'm going to be a citizen in less than a year from going to the Academy. Anyways does anybody know how to apply as an international student?

International students at USAFA are sponsored by their home country to attend. They go through four years at USAFA and then return to their home countries to serve in their military. It is a goodwill/cooperation program between the two militaries. You must be a US citizen to enter the Academy as a resident.
