I’m probably going to go towards the end of November, or maybe even during the week leading up to Army/Navy. Mostly depends on how late sports seasons go.

Same here... but the contact number is in the email. DS has SAt this weekend.. hoping it’s his last sat exam. May take one more AcT. May call that number and schedule it by phone. Planning to do it next month. Nov may be very hectic football senior day and his last comecoming dance.

Ok, he’ll probably wait and just call to schedule. His soccer schedule is pretty hectic until November. It would be tough now. The letter said they’ll do overnights until Nov. 21 then start up again in January.

nov is usually my DS’ football senior night and homecoming dance. I think he will schedule it for next month. He has SLE group chat friends but so far only him got this email.

If your son is the only one in his group that got an LOA or LOE, then it makes sense if he’s the only one who got the email. I believe they only open overnights up to those candidates.

Our sports end around November 20th and homecoming a few weeks before, probably a regional thing. They run overnights all the time, there were a bunch of kids coming to do them when I went for a day visit last November.

I’m sending him alone. I’m going with him to CGA invitational it’s also over night but we’ll stay for 4days. It’s getting too expensive for us. He went to 4 summer leader. I’m surprise he is invited to go again.

A letter of assurance is a conditional offer of appointment—finish your application and meet all their standards and you’re in.

A letter of encouragement is sent to candidates to push them to continue to work on their application. Don’t quote me on this, but I believe I read somewhere that 70-80% of CC’s that receive an LOE receive an appointment.

Both open up the overnight opportunity.
