I have completed everything in the "Overview" section of the candidate application portal except for the "Employer's Evaluation" and "Medical" sections, which are currently being processed. Am I required to submit any additional materials? Additionally, will I receive any confirmation regarding the completion of my application once the aforementioned sections have been processed? Thank you.

Portal will update with green checks [eventually . . .] so just stay on top of anything not green.

As long as you've entered the emails in for everything, you should be all right in that respect. That DOES NOT mean you're done! Just make sure you're watching those yellow symbols. If they don't turn green, remind the people who are supposed to turn them in what they have to do.

USMA will soon approve you for DoDMERB (provided you have actually finished enough of your other stuff and aren't disqualified by any factor)

This also means USMA has your standardized test scores if that bubble is green. Good. For some reason, students leave it to college advising (at my school, anyway) and neglect to send their scores.

You've submitted the CPDR, so if USMA needs any document uploads based on that, they'll ask you for them (such as the body fat worksheet if your weight is too much for your height). I'm not entirely positive on that stuff, but you will be asked to upload or send a ton of paperwork if you are admitted to USMA and accept.

This also means USMA has accepted your CFA video uploads. Looks like you just need to make sure your scores are qualifying, be aggressive in pursuing a nomination, keep your grades up, and continue to become physically stronger! The waiting game begins soon...

I believe DS completed his file today. He submitted his CFA videos and now has all green checks on the portal. There is a PDF for employer evaluation but no check mark or red X beside it. Does that mean the form is optional? Does the portal update to show a complete file? His USNA states complete pending review. Thanks

DS 2021 had no employer and the box never changed the whole ..time... that was somewhat unsettling..... but do not worry...
priority now is DODMERD exam. DO NOT DELAY an hour after receiving instructions - nail down that appointment time, do not petition for a closer site, the questionaire is not the most straightforward. obtain copy of medical records while waiting....

Thank you! He is DoDMERB qualified! Didnyour son's portal ever change to say file complete? Or, do you just see green checks until you get a TWE or some other PDF in the portal or via email?

I had to email my RC to make sure I have everything done. Nothing says "file complete" on my website, nor did I receive the "3Q" letter that people sometimes mention.

Due to lack of official proof that my file had been completed, I reached out to my RC who gave me the all-clear and told me all I had to do was wait for a decision (and obviously stay out of trouble).

My son finished all his MOC interviews last night. Now the real waiting begins. If you have an ROTC offer or are looking for other ways to pay for Plan B or C, a good way to pass the time is to apply for scholarships that will cover tuition or room and board!

Thanks! I am already pretty busy with powerlifting and preparing for the APFT/doing academic and leadership work, but you're right. Giving yourself something else to do makes the waiting significantly easier!

the candidate portal did not change until early January, when the admissions committees go full throttle. they discovered a problem with a high school teacher evaluation. the green check disappeared. the appropriate teacher completed the required eval, one week later the green check came back. One week after that, a PDF appeared at the bottom of the portal indicating the application was complete. Sometime this past February I posted a timeline of DS experience with the portal .

Thank you. I will look for that post.

Does West USMA require Field Force interview?

It's not required, but your FFR will likely show up in a Congressional and/or Senatorial interview, and I've heard of USMA candidates being recommended for State Coordinator or FFR interviews before for whatever reason.

My son is a reapply, he's had 4 interviews with Senator/Congressmen. Never has the Field Force Rep ever been there.

It definitely depends on where you're from. My FFR never showed up to any of my interviews either and I have completed all of mine as of today.
