My application has been complete for a few months now, and most appointments are given out around the end of March.
On my Bears Den account it says my application hasn't even been reviewed yet. Is this bad?

Did you receive an email to complete the DODmerb?
 
I completed my Dodmerb for other academies and I'm still waiting also. I'm qualified

I submitted my application in early January, however, my teacher recommendations were not entered until the 2/15 deadline. I have already taken the DodMERB exam for another academy and was qualified. Will the CGA know that I have taken the exam, as they have not asked me to take it to date.

Yes, they should. I took mine for USNA, was deemed qualified, and both USMMA and USCGA got the results.

There isn't a check box for the DoDMERB in the Bears Den portal - here is the full checklist as it appears in my portal. Hope this is a good reference for you.

The interview is optional right?
Does it help strengthen your application if you have completed the interview?

How did you complete your interview? In person/Skype?

Yes it is optional. If you are still able to do it, I'd email your admissions officer and ask if your application had been sent to the board. Because if it has you can not complete the interview.

The interview process is optional. However, as far as I understand, the interview process is also over, and has been for a few weeks. I actually travelled to the campus and conducted the interview with an AO in person. I would definitely recommend reaching out to your AO though and seeing if it's still possible, it couldn't hurt.
