On the portal my USAFA application has a due date of 11/14/20 and I have finished everything required except for the CFA. My only question is the portal states my due date has been met and that if everything is not submitted 2 weeks after then my application will be closed. Does this mean I can take an extra week to prepare for my CFA after my due date of 11/14/20 or does everything have to be submitted by then. Appreciate it.

Don't wait until the last minute. As 2020 has proven, the most unexpected things can come up. Honestly, and an extra week or two of CFA prep is probably not going to make that much difference. What happens if you catch a cold, flu, twist an ankle, CFA venues could close down, quaranties, etc? A thousand things could come up... Just something to think about.

I don’t know the precise answer to your question. That’s where going to your primary source USAFA point of contact is the right place to consult. Thoughts and opinions from anonymous forum posters, including mine, should not be your deciding factor.

I do know you are tempting fate. If there is a sudden family emergency, a weather event, injury or illness, sudden non-availability of your venue or administrator, you run yourself close to the edge of not getting it done. You’ve had how many months to deliver a CFA, and how much time before that to start preparing for it? If you are ready to take it, and your practice tests show you can deliver results above the median, then get on with it and breathe easy.

You should ask your ALO or admissions counselor.

The date you take your CFA must be before your application deadline from what I understand. Those 2 weeks account for 48 hours for scores to be sent in and then the 12 days that it could take for USAFA to process your scores and decide if you must retake.
