I was wondering how many applications USMMA receives as a result from all of the school events they do, and with potentially not being able to do those events if that will impact the number of applicants this year. USMMA doesn't seem to be well known and I think those events are such good advertising. So sad.

Except many of the senators/representatives won't be doing in-person interviews this year either.

Inability to do in-person interviews is not a big negative. Skype/Zoom is a serviceable alternative. DD did her MOC/USAF interviews remotely and had positive results from both. And that was before the current situation.

Also, it allowed DW and I to listen surreptitiously, which was a plus to us, if not to DD.

USMMA has been doing virtual events when possible with Congressional Academy Days with various congressional districts and senator offices. I think they are planning a virtual open house soon as well.

Kids are so much more in tune with virtual things like Zoom nowadays.
