I saw that the packing list for BCT requires faces masks for entry into medical facilities. Is this a current policy or have they just not removed it after the pandemic?

There are currently no mask requirements or policies in CO. I would take it as packing Bandaids: you may not need it, but it's there if you do.

The mask was on the packing list for 27' Our cadet never used it, never was asked to use it, and threw the masks away after BCT. No one even asked to check and see if they had it. Just pack the mask.

Just bring it... If you ever need to go to sick call during it for an injury, and you get to the clinic and see a lot of cadets coughing up a storm, oh you'll want that mask. 😂

Something I picked up a long time ago, "better to have and not need, than need and not have". Thought it was weird last year and ended up being nothing but it's not like they are adding a massive load or volume to their gear by taking the mask.

For my CL27 DS, we just have him bring a couple with him.

I forgot mine for basic, threw some underwear over my face, cadre let it slide, Dr's don't believe in covid so they didn't care. I will say make sure you use a clean pair.
