Appointment Status from FFR

Yesterday, I emailed my FFR to gain a better understanding of where my file stands or when I could possibly hear back.

He said he would reach out to an admissions Liaison to get any updates. This morning, he emailed me once again to tell me I should be hearing back very soon from admissions. He congratulated me on my accomplishments and said “the wait is almost over ;).”

Can I safely assume that I am being appointed?

Congrats! My FFR told me where i stand in the competition too and said admission will vote on my file in the next few weeks and watch for the portal and BFE... praying we get in!
 
I am too. I never though to contact my FFR about where I stand until I saw a thread on it the other day. Seemed to be helpful to both of us!
