Just a quick question to anyone else who has received an appointment, does it say that your "Instructions for Applicants Offered Admission" and "Forms For Applicant Offered Admission" are not available yet? I understand it's still early, however it seems like many of you got calls from senators, where as I just had a green message box on my home page as the way I found out. I don't think I can moveon to much until those are made available, which is fine but I just want to see if anyone else is experiencing similar issues. Also I'd love to meet some of my fellow classmates so feel free to message me on the side!
 
Congratulations to all of you on this thread. To the original question, my son's portal also says that information is not available yet. He has submitted the Acceptance form and the Tattoo form. You should also start receiving emails from the security branch at West Point about getting fingerprints and the background check/security investigation information.

I haven't seen a form or anything as to where I can send it, however someone mentined that we should keep an eye on our email inbox (and probably our candidate portal) because they will be emailing things for finger prints and e-QIP, I'd imagine we've received these so early that other forms and stuff still need time to be sent.

Ok, my portal doesn't have those items because I haven't accepted.

I don't think there is any set timeline, I have read that some people have waited up to a month to receive theirs some less. I think it is because they send them in batches, and since it seems like alot received there's last night we could be seeing some sent out soon.
 
DS received appointment 12 Dec. and BFE arrived 8 Jan. Should get an email from Installation security with a fingerprint card attachment followed by a packet with a fingerprint card in it. Once that is done either by local law enforcement, or an Army recruiter, or even UPS or a Fed EX store can do it and turned in then e-QIP process will get triggered.
 
Congrats to all of you that have received appointments! Just check your portals periodically to keep everything moving and updated. Please try not to obsess over all the forms just yet. Hug your parents, siblings and pet, spend time with friends that matter and ENJOY your what's left of your time at home! My 2024 says it's the best advice ever given and taken. It got her through Beast and the first semester. Oh and pack prickly heat powder for Beast!
 
Just a question, when and if I accept my appointment (to whatever SA), will I have to manually decline my appointments to other SAs and ROTC scholarships?
