Appointments

DS is an AOG scholar at one of the approved schools. It looks like he will get straight A's as going into finals he is well positioned. His paperwork is in and he has completed interviews but no nomination yet. We hope he will get a nomination in the next three weeks. How quickly does the admissions committee offer appointments to these students?

2018 cadet at mmi received his appointment in mid feb. If i am not mistaken for this class the prep school candidates didn't receive their appointments till early march.

It is a tough wait! From what it sounds like (as I have spoken with a few fellow candidates and my RC) West Point hasn't started sending official offers yet because they have not reviewed completed files. Please note that I am not positive about this information as it is from Monday and the Admissions Committee meets Tuesday.

Most of us will know of our decision from mid-January to April, as it's been that way in the past.

Hang in there, and go Army!
