Appointments

Does anyone know roughly how many appointments have been offered or accepted. Seems slower than past years from looking through threads. Tried looking at social media and not seen a whole lot of activity.

@Newday2023 No one can know that. You can only look at what is available in the Appointment Thread by year--and even that is a rough estimate-that will vary based on the number of candidates who are members of SAF. (So not a great tool.
Things are not slow or fast--the application window does not end until today. Appointments will come out steadily between now and 1 May. There is no way to predict when or what you will hear. There are no tea leaves, no predictions. I know people listen to their local field reps--but I have observed that sometimes they are not as well informed on matters of the admissions board as you would think.
If you are 3Q with a nom, it is a waiting game. Be patient. Keep faith. Two months from now you will know.

I was hoping my portal would show an appointment this morning before school...nothing yet..I’m wondering will it continue the same way that admissions meets Tuesday and you wait up to 72 hrs if your congressman calls... or is it more random now that the application process is closed..I am 3Q with a nom.

Good Morning Zooman, it will continue until around 1 May.
You cannot know if you will be accepted or when (except that you will hear something by 1 May). You also cannot know how you will be notified.
It is totally random.
These next two months can be hard, but going into this you knew you would be notified by 1 May so USMA is keeping to their part of the bargain.
