When will they start accepting applications for the class of 2024

I plan on applying to the USMA and USNA. I have a 4.1 weighted GPA, and a 3.6 unweighted GPA. I am on a club basketball team, in California Scholarship Federation program, Key Club, a recent Eagle Scout, Interact club, and in the AVID program. I volunteer my spare time at a soup kitchen and volunteer at the local temple teaching about Buddhism. However, I have a suspension on my record for willful violence as I got in a fight with another peer in my sophomore year. Hopefully, I won't get DQ for it. Your feedback means a lot to me

New class apps open up Jan 15 per USMA website but pretty much zero will happen until the Class of '23 is settled. Doesn't hurt to get the basics started and then be sure to have your ACT/SAT scores sent directly to both SAs for all past and future test dates.

As for your suspension you will need to declare it, own up to it, explain it, and hope your explanation is good enough. [there will be a form to cover all of this as part of the application process; don't send in any separate letters etc. unless asked to.] A school fight is not criminal assault [I assume?] so its probably not going to rule you out. Nobody will care who started it [unless you flat out ambushed somebody] only that you learned from it, haven't repeated it, and hopefully matured after it so it won't happen again.

I'm pretty sure the Long Gray Line has a few other schoolyard fight club members in its 200+ year old ranks . . .

You will get to list all / any achievements and awards including civic and school.

Midwest dad I got academic dishonesty and with a suspension from perviously i dont know if I can get in. I feel like Januarys a bad month for me as they both happen to me both in January

Don't tell yourself no. Send in the best application you can (while being honest about your suspension) and let USMA decide. If you don't apply, the answer is always no.
