April 21st?

I read on the USAFA website that the 21st is when most will have their decision by. Do they post notices in the portal on Sundays? My daughter has not heard as word yet. Her application package has been completed since November 1st! It would be a blessing for her to be appointed. I am a single parent, and I don't want her to have student loan debt forever! She has known she wanted to serve since late elementary school, and to obtain a college degree at the same time! Counting our blessings and saying prayers for sure!!!

Hello, if I remember correctly, ds received word on his portal (and I think he also received a email to check his portal) that he was on the waitlist for a ff scholarship - I think this was right around April 21, 2023 (probably that actual day - it was a Thursday- also I was searching through emails to try to determine these dates that’s why they may not be exact). I was told everyone is on the waitlist for a ff scholarship. I am not sure when he received word that he was actually granted the ff scholarship but it was before May 18, 2023. He accepted and attended New Mexico Military Institute and has had a fantastic year.

Also- I don’t know for sure but my guess is that they won’t send anything on a Sunday.

Yes! He finishes nmmi on Saturday and then has to be at usafa on June 26 (that date is off the top of my head). The ff scholarship is a golden ticket from what I understand. As long as you don’t screw up at the prep school!
