Are all the appointments given out for 2014 if the website is already mentioning 2015?
 
Not at all. They still might have close to half to still give out. Hang tough, you still have a good chance.

Going off of last year's posts, the peak of most of the appts. were given out around the middle of March. Admissions is kicking into high gear now. I'm in the same boat as you, anxiously waiting.
 
Its the worst. Im stuck in the boat with you too man! good luck!:biggrin:

I also just finished looking through last year's appointment thread. Looks like mid-March it is...
 
Looking at last years just made me more anxious. This is the month!
 
I am so nervous but all I can do now is hope and pray.
Also, I am so mad right now. I recieved an email today from Senator Mark Warner (one of my nominators). The only emails he has sent me up to this point have been Academy related. So, when I saw sender I was like this is it. The email I have been waiting for. Turned out it was just an invitation to a government job fair. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy for a fraction of a second and then crushed.

Didn't you guys hate it when you'd get a DVD or a post card or a Christmas Card from the Academy after your paperwork was complete?


"mass mailing" last year was 3rd week in March, late in the week. Congressional staffer notified kid, then we got Appointment (big envelope) package about Wednesday the following week (in Texas).

Humorously, we received an authorization for kid to sign allowing us to join Association of Graduates as parents of cadet before his packet came in.

8 days away from recognition starting - what a year!

My daughter did not receive her appointment until the 18th of March last year. It is my understanding that a large portion of appointments are made around the 3rd week of March each year.
